Friends Service Council Nepal (FSCN) is a non-profit national level non-government organization working for social sector development and entrepreneurship development of the nation since 1991 and implementing different interventions in 22 districts of Nepal with the motto of Solidarity and Commitment for Social Change. The strategic areas of intervention are Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Support, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Sustainable Livelihood and Institutional Development and Governance with CCA as a cross cutting issues and Gender Inclusion and Social Inclusion (GESI) in core. FSCN aims to reduce poverty and injustice through empowerment of the poor and marginalized people. FSCN is registered in District Administrative Office Lalitpur and affiliated with Social Welfare Council of Nepal. FSCN is affiliated with large number of national and international organizations Networks like NGO Federations of Nepal, National Disaster Management Network of Nepal (DiMaNN), Disaster Preparedness Network Nepal (DPNet, Nepal), WASH Alliance Nepal, WASH RCNN (Resource Centre Network Nepal), Human Rights Alliance, Civil Society Alliance for Nutrition (CSANN), The Global Network of Civil Society Organizations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR), Asian Disaster Risk Reduction Network (ADRRN).
FSCN’s head office is in Mahalaxmi municipality, Lalitpur and a field office is in province no. 5 Tilottama municipality, Rupandehi. FSCN is run by a team of dedicated and experienced professionals both at the central as well as local level.
